Neukrk - Album

from $10.00

NEUKRK delivers a dramatic soundscape of psychedelic electronic music that maps the moody landscape of Brooklyn enriched with layers of Eastern European and occult histories.

NEUKRK acts as a layered historical artifact that forms its psychedelic electronic soundscape from beats, synths, noise, samples and field recordings, pianos, guitar, and percussion. NEUKRK is heavily influenced by many aspects of industrial music, instrumental hiphop, shoegaze, and neoclassical.

NEUKRK also features “The Ballad of Fiedler and Mundt,” the original theme used by fiction podcast Welcome to Night Vale—a track often described by fans as haunting, cinematic, and unmistakably iconic. Night Vale fans will recognize many other pieces from the album that turn up in the show, praised for their moody, immersive quality and ability to evoke a strange, desert-bound emotional landscape.
